These sums represent minor amounts that the Bethlehem Diacony
owed to the members of the Bethlehem community.
This 20-page summary (10 two-page spreads) gives Bethlehem's financial
position in 1762, showing a tally of the Bethlehem's total assets and
debts as they stood on May 31, 1762 (pages 2-22). The summary is made
up of two parallel columns—debits (money owed by the Diacony) on
the left-hand page, and credits (assets and money owed to the Diacony)
on the right-hand page.
