September 20, 1797 7) Henry Huber, who undertook to build a stone bridge over the Monocacy by the ford at Ludwigs Plantation for £280 has come to an agreement with Br. Schropp about the necessary stones, wherein he will be allowed to find and open a quarry on the north side of the Monocacy not far from the brick house, and to excavate the stones required for the bridge building; he will pay Br. Schropp £12. He will make a written agreement for this.
