May 17th 1758
 
Present Br. Bechtel, Okely, Schropp, Weber, Ettwein.
 
Charles Ollendorff having signified his Desire of leaving
Bethlehem, was sent for, & after hearing what he had to say in that
Respect he was dismiss’d in Peace first signing a Release
of all Demands &c.
 


July 27.th 1758.
 
Present Bechtel, Schropp, Okely, Weber.
 
Jacob Wiesinger
having obtain’d Leave to remove to
Bethlehem & follow his Stocking Weaving Business here
was called & after acquainting him with the nature of
our Oeconomy & upon what Footing he was to live &
carry on his Business among us, He was ask’d if
he like’d to continue here upon those Terms?
To which, answering in the affirmative & expressing
his Satisfaction with every Thing as he found it,
The usual Declaration upon Admittance was read
to him & he sign’d the same in our Presence.
As did also W.m Nixon a Cooper, removed here to
us from N. York with his Family.
....... Diemer was sent for & told to undertake the
Baking Business as Chief or Master Baker.

Peter Steiner
, the Brother of Abraham Steiner Master
Blacksmith, was by consent of both Parties, put to his Brother
on Trial to learn the Smith’s Trade.
Nicholas Green
having been with Br. Mush Master–
Shomaker, upon Trial, & both Parties being satisfied with
each other, he was solemnly given over to him as his
apprentice.
John Folck
in like Manner, was given over to Br.
Kornman, the Leather Dresser for the same End, as also
Frederick Weisser
to Br. Hopsch, the Nail Smith.
 
 


December 8th 1758.
 
Present B.rn Bechtel, Mich. Haberland & Schropp.
 
The Affair concerning Mary Robins & her Desire of leaving
Bethlehem & going to her Br. & Sister Fröhlich in N. York,
with the Examination of sev.l Persons on the Occasion, see
the Particulars in a Paper sign’d by s.d Bechtel & Schropp
amongst the Committee Papers.
