DEHUF, Elizabeth, b Feb. 3,1772 in Lancaster, the eldest dau.of Heinrich (saddler in Lancaster) who d Mar. 25, 1795, and Philipine, mn. Eberman; d 1831 in Bethlehem.

MOEHRING, Johann Friedrich (second marriage) ‚ b Oct. 24, 1737 in Hirschberg, Germany, the second s.of Johann Wolfgang and Magdalena Elisabeth, mn. Zoellner; in 1752 went to Herrnhut to learn purse-making; employed as "chor-pfleger in Fulneck‚ England ‚ in Gracehill‚ Ireland‚ and in Bedford, England, where he was ordained deacon in 1777; in 1783 came to Pennsylvania; served as pastor of various congregations; d Apr. 11, 1804 in Bethlehem. He m. first, in 1784, Anna Salorae Neisser, who d June 28, 1794 (? 1793) in Woolwich, West Jersey.

 

BOECKEL, Christine Elisabeth, b Dec. 15, 1744 in Heidelberg, Pa., the eldest dau. of George Frederick and Anna Elisabeth, mn. Rohrbach; d Aug. 5 ‚ 1823 in Bethlehem.

FREYTAG, Eberhard (second marriage), b Apr. 20, 1764 in Halberstadt, Germany, a s.of August (carder) and Justine, mn, Spiegel; physician in Bethlehem; d Mar. 4, 1846 in Bethlehem. He m. first, in 1790, Catharina Jacobson, who d Apr. 12, 1795; and thirdly, in 1819, Salome Fetter of Salem, N.C., who d 1861 in Bethlehem.

 

OLIVER, Anna Christine, b June 28, 1761, a dau.of Edward and Maria; from Bristol, England; taught in the Moravian Schools at Gumnmersall and Fulneck; came to America in 1791; d 1818 in Bethlehem.She had issue, two daughters. Daughters: Maria E., the w. of Benjamin Eggert; and Anna C., the w. of Charles C. Tombler.
