FRUEAUFF, Johann Friedrich, b Oct. 29,1762 in Neudietendorf, Saxe-Gotha, the second s.of Rev Johann Friedrich and Johanna Margaretha, mn. Schnoeck, who d Jan. 14, 1782; in Oct. 1788 came to America; served as tutor at Nazareth Hall; from 1819-1821, the ninth principal of Young Ladies' Seminary in Bethlehem; later-served invarious congregations; ordained deacon 1792, and presbyter 1807; for a time served as ,head pastor ad interim at Bethlehem; a member of the Provincial Board; d Nov. 14,1839 ,while on a journey to Philadelphia; bd in Bethlehem.

Von SCHWEINITZ, Johanna Elisabeth, b Sep. 4.1772 in Bethlehem, the eldest dau.of Hans Christian Alexander and Maria Theresia, mn. Von Marschall, who d July 5,1775; d 1828 in Bethlehem. A daughter, Theresa Adelaide was the first wife of Bishop David Bigler; a daughter, Amalia Hortensia was the wife of Bishop George F. Bahnsen.
