REICHEL, Carl Gotthold (second marriage), b July 14, 1751 in Hermsdorf near Goerlitz, the second s.of Rev. Carl Rudolph (living in Neukirch, Upper Lusatia), and Eleonora Sophia, mn. Miller; ordained a deacon in 1782, and presbyter 1784; in Nov. 1784 came to America; he was the first principal of Nazareth Hall- preacher in Nazareth, Pa., and Salem, N.C; consecrated a bishop in 1801; pastor at Bethlehem, 1812-1815; from 1811 to 1818 resided in Bethlehem; d in Nisky, Lower Silesia, on Apr. 18, 1825. He m. first, Oct. 2, 1780 at Gnadenfrei, Anna Dorothea Ma-as, who d Aug. 15, 1806 in Salem, N.C.

FETT ER, Catharina, b June 10,1776 in Lancaster, Pa., the first dau.of Johann Jacob and Susanna Catharina, mn. Fainot; d May 20,1820 at Niesky. Bishop Levin T. Reichel, was a son.
