mn. Wiediger; united with the Moravians in Herrnhut in 1783; the same
year went an medical missionary to Tranquebar and the Nicobar Islands;
returned to Herrnhut and in 1795 came to Bethlehem where he remained
for twenty years; in 1816 moved to Warwick and in 1824 to Lititz where
he d Mar. 3, 1825. He m. first, in 1796, Sophia Magdalena Otto, who
d Aug. 6, 1810; and thirdly, in 1815, Elizabeth Frey. By his first
marriage he had issue, seven children; and by third marriage, three
children.
SCHAAF. Anna, b Aug. 6, 1757 in Bethlehem, the only dau. of Thomas
(linen weaver from Nuremberg) and Anna, mn. Mann; d 1815 in Bethlehem,
where both of her parents are also buried.
