He m. first, Phoebe Anna Koken, b 1777 in Allentown, who d Dec. 23, 1815; and a. secondly, Sarah Koken, who d May 8,1817, the latter being a sister to his wife; the sisters were of Quaker parentage. His children were: James K; Elizabeth, second wife of George Schneider; Phoebe Ann, wife of David F. Michael; Lucretia, wife of Bourquin; and Louisa, who d 1880, unmarried. |
