OERTER, Lydia, b June 2 8,1799 in Bethlehem, a dau.of Joseph and Maria Justina, mn. Hasse; taught in the Young Ladies' Seminary until 1844; spent her last years in Philadelphia, where she d Feb. 4, 1884; bd in Bethlehem.
A daughter, Levinia Maria was the wife of Valentine Cargill.

BUSCH ‚ Charles SamueI ‚ b Nov. 26 ,1801 in Bethlehem, a s.of Jacob and Anna Catharina, mn. Weinecke; shoemaker; editor of "Friedensbote"; cashier of Second National Bank of Allentown ‚ where he d July 22,1864.

 

HALL, Anna, a dau .of James and Christine‚ mn. Leibert a Mar .26,1877 in Allentown, age 75 yr. 1 mo. 22 days.
A son, James H., preceded his father; a daughter was the wife of J.T. Burdge.

BOECKEL, Charles Frederick, b May 16,1801 in Bethlehem, the first s. of George Frederick and Anna Maria, mn. Kindig; goldsmith and jeweler; in 1826 established a foundry on Sand Island near the Lehigh, which he continued to operate almost to the time of his death; a member of the board of trustees of the Church and for 50 years secretary of that body; burgess or Bethlehem, an active member of the Philharmonic Society and teacher of the first Brass Band; many years a member of the Trombone choir; d June 6,1880 In Bethlehem.

 

BROWN, Charlotte Frederica, b July 28,180 In Hebron, Lebanon co. ‚ the first dau.of Rev. Nathanael and Frederica, mn. Unger; d. Apr. 13, 1864 in Bethlehem.
They had Issue, three sons: Charles N., George M., and Lewis F; and a daughter, Rosalia T., who was unmarried.
In 1873 celebrated Golden Wedding in Bethlehem.

MIKSCH, Johann Matthaeus, b Dec. 7, 1798 In Christian Spring, a a. of Paul and Catharina, mn. Bush; goldsmith and watchmaker; trustee and elder of the Church, chief burgess 1847, 1848, and 1863, d July 28,1882 in Bethlehem.
He m. secondly, in 1832, Juliana Caroline Vierling, who d Mar.12, 1879 in Bethlehem; and had issue, a daughter, Maria.

 

DIXON, Elisabeth, b Nov. 15, 1799 in Emaus, a dau. of Joseph and Rosina, inn. Huber; d 1829 in Bethlehem.
Children: Richard P., of Niles, Mich; and Emma E., wife of William J. Held of Philadelphia.

EVERITT, Hannah, b. Mar. 7, 1796 in Emaus, a dau. Of Thomas and Rosina, mn. Giering; d. 1863 in Bethlehem; issue, four children. A daughter, Sara Elizabeth, was the wife of David H. Bishop, a son, Henry T., b. Aug. 4, 1824.
