EGGERT, Pauline Louise, b Sep. 27, 1808 in Bethlehem, a dau.of Matthias and Maria, mn. Ruppert; she was the mother of sixteen children; d. July 5,1879 in Bethlehem.
Surviving children were: Albert T; Herman A; Lewis L; Henry E; and William E; a son, Edmund, d 1864; and a daughter, Louise, the wife of George L. Baum, in 1875.

JACOBSEN, John Christian, b Apr. 8, 1795 in Burkall, Denmark; his father a missionary; in 1816 came to America; teacher in Nazareth Seminary; called to the congregation in Bethania, NC; he was the fourth principal of the Salem, N.C. Academy; in 1849 moved to Bethlehem; from 1849-1867, president of the Provincial Board of the Moravian Church; 1854 consecrated a bishop; d Nov. 24, 1870 In Bethlehem.

 

SCHNALL, Ann Lisette, b Apr. 26, 1806 in New Fairfield, Canada, the third dau. of Johannes and Margaretha, inn. Hasting, Moravian missionaries to the Delaware Indians; d June 9,1883 in Bethlehem.
Children were Dr. Edward H., William A., and Mary E., wife of Bishop Edward Rondthaler.

They had two sons who d when quite young; and one daughter, Wilhelmina B., the second wife of Adam Gering.

A daughter, Caroline Maria, was the wife of Dr. Aaron D. Becker.

MILLER, Esther, b 1805; from Rockhill, Bucks co.; d 1837 in Bethlehem.
His surviving children were: Charles, John, and Amelia, wife of Bourbon.
