  CLEWELL, Salome Louisa, b. July 30, 1816, one of five children of Friedrich and Maria, mn. Fuehrer; d. June 1, 1890 in Bethlehem.
Of their two daughters, Olivia L. survived them.

Surviving children: Marcus C and Matilda H., wife of Mr. Lehman; a son, George J., d. 1873; a daughter, Annie E., d. 1880.

Henry; taught four years at Nazareth Hall; ordained to ministry in 1839; from 1849-1861, principal of the Young Ladies’ Seminary in Bethlehem; served as pastor of several congregations; d. Aug. 29, 1873 in Bethlehem.
  RICE, Sarah Caroline, b. Jan. 29, 1820 in Bethlehem, a dau. of Jacob and Sarah Ann, mn. Peters; d. May 18, 1876 in Bethlehem.
A daughter, Ellen C., was the wife of Edmund G. Helwig.

  LEIBERT, Charlotte Josephine, b. Nov. 20, 1813 in Bethlehem, a dau. of Joseph and Rebecca, mn. Nitschmann; after the death of her husband she took up his duties as postmaster of Bethlehem; d. Jan 29, 1884 in Bethlehem where she is also buried.
Children: Rev. William Henry, b. Sep. 8, 1840; Joseph A., b. Mar. 28, 1844; Maria L; and Rebecca.

Dec. 22 GABRIEL, Johann Henrich, b. May 2, 1812 in Herborn, Nassau, Germany, one of three children of Johannes and Anna Elisabeth, mn. Stephan; in 1836 emigrated to America and settled in Macungie, where, in 1839, he established one of the first woolen mills in this part of the country; in 1850 it was removed to Allentown; d. Sept. 16, 1887 in Allentown.
He m. secondly, Sophia Gaumer, a widow from Macungie; and they had children: George R.; Milton S.; John Oscar; Sarah S., wife of Charles C. Lodger; Anna M., wife of Elias Helwig; Mary Alice, wife of George W. Deeths; Henrietta P.; and Emma W.
  EGGERT, Aurora Cornelia, b. June 16, 1813 in Betlehem, a dau. of Matthaeus and Maria, mn. Ruppert.
They had issue: William and Ellen T.
