LUCKENBACH, Belinda Amelia, b Apr. 2, 1819 in Goshen, 0hio, a dau. of Rev. Abraham and Rosina, mn. Heckedorn; from 1839-1845 a teacher in the Young Ladies' Seminary; d Mar.15, 1893. Children: Francis A; Charles W; Jane Z., wife of William C. Krause; Miss Emma L; and Carolina L.

LUCKENBACH, Anna, b Aug. 13, 1811 in Hanover twp., a dau. of David and Elisabeth, mn. Clewell; d Apr. 29, 1893 in Bethlehem. A son, Eugene, was principal of the Moravian Parochial School in Bethlehem.

  b Mar. 30, 1811 in Utrechostein, Wurtemberg, a s. of Heinrich and Dorothea, mn. Horlacher; about 1642 came to America; employed as cooper by the Bethlehem Iron Go; d Feb. 5, 1890 in Bethlehem; buried in old cemetery. He m. secondly in 1880, Mary Ricksecker, mn. Pflueger, who d 1883 in Bethlehem.
SMILEY, Catharina. mn. Seibel, b 1802 in Lehigh County; d Feb. 7, 1879 in Bethlehem. She m. first, William Smiley, who d 1826.

Heckewelder; taught in Nazareth Hall 1835-1840; called to the congregation in Canal Dover, 0; missionary to the Indians in Canada; in 1857 ordained a presbyter; 1858-1864 president of the Theological Seminary; 1864-1867 again in the ministry; since 1867 a member of the Northern Provincial Board-, his last charge (1879-1884) was York, Pa; d Oct. 21, 1884 in Bethlehem.
OERTER, Maria Louisa, b Mar. 2, 1822 in Bethlehem, a dau. of John and Anna Elizabeth, mn. Clewell; in early life a teacher in the Sunday School; d Jan. 10, 1898. Children: Albert; Joseph; Theodore; and Mrs. Rev. William. H. Vogler; a son, Clarence, was in the U.S. Navy in the Civil War; a daughter, Mary, d in 1876.
