was principal of the Moravian Parochial School in Bethlehem.

OERTER, Maria Louisa, b Mar. 2, 1822 in Bethlehem, a dau. of John
and Anna Elizabeth, mn. Clewell; in early life a teacher in the Sunday
School; d Jan. 10, 1898. Children: Albert; Joseph; Theodore; and Mrs.
Rev. William. H. Vogler; a son, Clarence, was in the U.S. Navy in
the Civil War; a daughter, Mary, d in 1876.
