Henry; from 1839-1846 tutor at Nazareth Hall, from 1846-1851 teacher in the Parochial School in Bethlehem; from 1855-1862 an Elder; 18491861, the first recording secretary o the Home Missionary Society; from 1861 1881, principal of the Young Ladies' Seminary in Bethlehem; he was the inventor of a paper bag machine; d Feb. 10, 1893.
  SEIDEL, Elisabeth Caroline, nm. Weiss, b May 7, .824 in Bethlehem, a dau.of Jedidiah and Mary, mn. Staples; a Mar. 28, 1906 at the home of her grandson, Clifford Howard, at Chevy Chase, Md; bd in Bethlehem. Children: Dr. J. Frederick, famous as the organizer and director of the Bach Choir; Robert H; Hartley C ; Laura R. ‚ wife of Henry Clay Jenkins; and Helen L ‚ the second wife of Prof. Charles Doolittle.
She m. first, in 1842, Rev. Henry A. Seidel , who d in 1843 at Hopedale; their daughter, Agnes A., was the wife of William Howard.

  LOESCH, Olivia D., b Dec. 5, 1825 in Salem, NC., a dau.of Charles W. and Wilhelmine, mn. Boehler; she was a beneficiary of the Widows' Society until 1909.
  Calvin and Clement were sons; a daughter, Anna L, was the wife of Rev. George H. Lopp, Moravian missionary in Jamaica.

  EBERMAN, Caroline Rebecca, b Feb. 1, 1828 in Friedensfeld, St. Croix, West Indies, a dau.of Rev. William (b 1787 in Lancaster and d 1857 in Bethlehem and Anna, mn. Oehme; taught in, the Moravian Seminary; d June 3,1878 in Bethlehem.
They had children: Charles Edward; William E; Frank L; Emily A. (m. first, Monroe Van Billiard, and secondly, Rev-Richard Cri Crittenden); Mary L. (unmarried),; and Gertrude N. (b and d 1868).
